Something Deep Inside

去参加了同事也是同学的婚礼，一场典型的在酒店举办的中国人心目中的西式婚礼，第一次参加这种婚礼，终于明白了什么是婚庆公司口中的“西式婚礼”。

酒店里还敲了一下钟，被称作是“教堂神圣的钟声”。主持人也在一首中文歌的伴奏下“我愿意为你，…”,模仿牧师，问了诸如“你愿意…”的问题，觉得蛮逗的，总觉得不是那个味儿，不过人家的婚礼，还是严肃点儿得好，自己尽量不发表评论。

Chen Xiaoping, the general designer and the chief executive of Dongshan International New City (another place where I would like to buy an apartment, maybe) came to our university to have a lecture, and in the meantime, he came to recruit new staff from the graduates.

  Dongshan Guoji Xincheng is really a great project and it’s a brand-new idea to make a new town in the outskirt of a big city, which can accommodate 80,000 people, with 4 square km., surrounded by Luxi River and Longquan mountain. There are 11 primary schools, several bilingual kindergartens, a national art museum, a big library on the mountain, Wanda cinema, theatres, an odeum, hospitals, wedding base, swimming pools, gyms, elevators on the mountain and etc.

  At the beginning of his lecture, three Spanish men appeared on the stage. I’m sure they are the ones to whom free houses are offered in the new town. All of them are from Barcelona, working for Mr. Chen now in China. One said he used to design for the Olympic games of 1992 held in Barcelona, one said he had 40 years experience of doing the business related to recreation culture, and one was the director of the tourism college of UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) 10 years ago. Besides the Spanish, other foreign experts from other countries, such as Germany, Holand, Australia and so on, also take part in the designing of the project, which is an amazing project they are working on.
